Stewartry CVS is a licensed user of and subscriber to FunderFinder - a powerful computer application designed to assist individuals and groups in identifying potential funding sources .

The FunderFinder software holds information about the criteria of over 4,500 funders. These are the trusts and foundations about which there is published information and which make grants to charities and voluntary and community groups.

FunderFinder asks grant-seekers to describe themselves and the work they are looking to fund in terms which can be matched with the criteria used by funders.

FunderFinder retrieves funders that match the profile of the grant-seeker, excluding those that are inappropriate and ranking the funders found in best match order. It also allows the user to consider 'near misses'.

From the search FunderFinder produces a list of funders which can be saved, exported and printed out, giving details of where to find further information.
